What can I say? I found this plugin-development to be a quite interesting hobby. Once I gave it a try, I couldn’t stop. And after making the tabbed navigation, I knew there was more I could do with it. So this next plugin was born. The alphabetically-ordered tab navigation is something I’m quite proud of.
Continuing with the plugin project, I bring to you a simple tab navigation. The result is as follows.
I’ve been working on this project for a while and I’m happy to finally be able to publish it. It’s a series of JQuery plugins with the peculiarity that they have several color themes than can be changed through a parameter in the function call, without having to touch the CSS. The first one in […]
I’ve been working with the mobile web (either designing or front-ending, I tend to do both) for almost four months now and I’ve learned a great deal in that time. One of the many things I’ve learned from has been the use of the JQuery Mobile framework for mobile web experience implementation. As you can […]
There has been a lot of controversy and information about what the increasing presence of HTML5 will represent for web developers and their current way of dealing with web projects. Now that I have been teaching HTML and CSS for the new students of the Computer Technologies mayor at the university, I have been asked one or two times if we’re going to cover basic PHP programming. Sadly, the time I have for that course is limited. Nevertheless, I gathered a list of effective PHP […]
Due to time schedules and related circumstances, I haven’t had the time to properly learn Drupal, and have been learning on the go. I would suggest, though having the time to do so, you used the opportunity to do so if you’re planning on working in the web development field. As a web designer it […]
This post is actually motivated by my current development project. The solution I’m working on is FusionCharts, which is not a free solution, but it is still a very good one to work with. I’ve had my issues with it, but I still appreciate it for having such an enormous variety of graphs and charts, […]
Many of us are still wondering about this HTML5 stuff, and many of us (yeah, like me) just read about it but really didn’t know what it was about. Yeah, I’m one of those guys. What is HTML5 anyways? It’s a cooler version of HTML/XHTML, giving you the option of using a greater variety of […]
