Hackerspace Monterrey Website Redesign Proposal

I love doing design projects for Hackerspace Monterrey because I’m so in love with the initiative. You can find out more about it, it’s a technology culture initiative here in my city.

This project was sort of abandoned by Hackerspace Monterrey (kept their old version which has the same color palette but different information arrangement) but I’m still very fond of it. It’s all about taking advantage of the whitespacing.

Responsiveness was my favorite part of the project, figuring out how all of the different blocks inside the homepage would be displayed. The home page is really the most important page, since it has almost all of the information you can get about the project as a global unit. The rest of it is support information and news (gallery, blog, location, social networks).
